One of our core principles has always been transparency.
In November and December, we decided to make an investment to improve our Los Angeles infrastructure by migrating to a new server. Although the cost was higher, we firmly believed that strengthening Los Angeles was the right decision. Along with this, we planned to deploy two additional servers in Kansas City and one in Ashburn, a location where we had not previously operated.
Weeks passed. We completed the migration in Los Angeles and purchased a server in Ashburn. However, due to the high cost of RAM at the time, we were unable to acquire the planned servers in Kansas City, which complicated the overall plan. In Ashburn, the datacenter also provided a different server than what was originally promised, causing further delays.
After that, we began experiencing bandwidth issues. Despite having contracted an unmetered service, bandwidth invoices continued to be generated. We consider this, overall, to have been an unsuccessful investment.
As a result, we have decided to move the Ashburn server to Kansas City and to acquire more cost-effective servers for Los Angeles in order to cover the unused space we currently have there. We expect these changes to be carried out quickly and without further issues.
Thank you for your understanding, and we sincerely apologize for the problems experienced with the Ashburn service.
